Don't know if there was another thread about this game. Typical Snyder offensively challenged team; good special teams and depends on turnovers and luck and, with a good D, seems to scrape by. QB an average passer who hit 2 3rd and forever passes for TDs in overtime. La Tech much better offensive team but could not hit the long passes in the end. These guys now not near the concern as OSU or UT. Unless we have more stupid offensive mistakes like the last two games with KState in Norman.

Agreed. Watched the La Tech - KSU game last night and what I saw was a sound, but slightly suspect Wildcat squad. I will give Snyder props for getting the most out of his 2 star players, and his system is still effective, even in this day of spread offenses. But, like Okie70 said, the only reason we lose to KSU in Manhattan is because of our own mistakes on offense, very much like the last two times we've played them at home. Not saying it's an automatic W for OU, and winning in Manhattan is always a tall order, but this game doesn't concern me nearly as much as some of the others on the schedule (TCU, OSU, Baylor).

The no. 1 qb for Kstate got hurt early in game 1. So with already a bunch of guys to replace, especially this whippet receiver from Tulsa, it is not surprising that they are starting a little slow. But by the time we go to Manhattan, they will be good enough, that anybody will have to be solid and playing well to beat them.

Well coached teams may not always beat you, but if you beat yourself, they will say Thank You, and send your fans home in sadness.
