You could tell they were ill-prepared for what happened on election night. His whole show went off the fvcking rails with their script. They were expecting to sit there and make fun of Trump all night. As the results began to roll in, the uncomfortable derailment made this one of the funniest things I've watched in a while. The segment with the comedians and the female holding back tears was Emmy worthy.

I will say, the best part of Trump winning is watching the media eat crow and then not understand how they got it so wrong. They don't realize they were part of the reason why he won.

I watch Real Time after the elections. Maher's was a good cross section of liberals. They were saying it was racism. It's that the world is changing too rapidly for middle America and they voted to go back in time. It's sexism.

Trump can only hope the Democrats continue not to learn the lesson over the next four years.

Bill Maher said the coasts said for the last two years middle America could not be so dumb as to vote for Trump. But Americans love a challenge and middle America replied, "Oh yeah! We'll show you just how dumb we can be!"

And Trump says, "Thank you, Bill. Please continue."
