Win four more games and Grayson's jersey is going in the rafters.
Won't happen, due to not meeting the requirements.Win four more games and Grayson's jersey is going in the rafters.
There are no official requirements.Won't happen, due to not meeting the requirements.
But I'm all for starting a petition to get that baby up there.
One more championship is a big deal. Not just something you can gloss over. Winning a 3rd of K's championships holds much more weight in my opinion than having great stats such as JJ and Sheldon. If Kyle Singler’s or Scheyers jersey don’t in the rafters I don’t see Grayson’s going.
All three were great Duke players but if the only thing separating the three is one more possible championship I don’t see it especially like stated no national awards.
How so? Especially if Bagley is named MVP? Granted Grayson stayed four years and was crucial in the 2015 nationals championship but what else has he done that sticks out from others? I guess we could throw in there that he was the captain of four freshman to win a championship and it’s his second in his four years but what else would go with it except the adversity( which some he brought on his self) he faced returning for a fourth season. I’m all for it, think it’s great for him and the success he has had in the program but outside of the reason stated what else has he done different then Singler or Scheyer ?One more championship is a big deal. Scoring 2000 points, being named an All-American, and winning 2 championships would be more than enough in my book. Only Laettner would be able to say they have done all of those things. I am guessing we just weigh championships a little differently. Each championship is a HUGE deal in my book. To win two of them would be an amazing accomplishment. How so? I’m not disagreeing with what your saying just don’t see it happening. I’m all for it if he wins his second but winning his second is the only thing that would separate him from Scheyer or Singler.Scoring 2000 points, being named an All-American, and winning 2 championships would be more than enough in my book.
