She’s been bloody since the onset of the show. The people that used to council her darkness away are all gone. And, she’s crazy *****.

Girl watched them kill her brother, the only person she'd ever really known, and didn't flinch.

Jamie's arc is the one that makes NO sense. I realize they probably ran out of time and had to speed all of it up, but that one just seems screwy as hell.

BTW - I loved that episode. Really shot their wad didn't they?

Why do you think it didn’t make sense? Curious.

Since Season 1 they've been breaking him down and building him back up as a redemptive person with incredible growth. Then, in like 5 minutes, he was like nah. So what if she offered Bronn a castle to kill me.

It's not that the arc wouldn't/couldn't have happened....the pacing of it was awful. Even in a condensed season.

Him having some sort of sexual attraction to Brienne was not believable at all IMO. Friendship - sure, but not sex. The whole set up to that was stupid and never had to happen.

And it pisses me off they they spent an entire season making Arya a faceless man killer so she could kill Walter Frey and his sons.

What's the point of Bran becoming the 3 eyed raven? Jamie's growth.... thrown away in the final scenes? Arya travels all the way to Kings Landing to finally take Sandor's advice and split? John becoming a ball-less cuck? Varys? I don't know.... I'm feeling frustrated. They should have split the first 3 episodes this season into a single 6 episode season, and then taken these last 3 to do a single 6 episode season, and really flushed out and paid off some of these back stories they created and hinted at.

Yikes. I'm not that mad at it.

BTW - anyone watch Veep? Talk about a terrible last season. Last night's episode was pretty decent though.

Didn't like Veep at all? Or this season. The first 4 seasons of Veep, to me, rival Always Sunny as the funniest TV show ever.
Tried to start watching from the beginning. Just never really stayed with me. Maybe I'll give it another shot.

Love Veep.

Dan ending up with a wife half his age and selling real estate was pretty spot on.

Am I the only one who felt like that white horse showing up right at the perfect moment was really just Bran worging in where he knew he was going to need to be.

Arya has a much bigger destiny than just to get revenge on somebody who was going to die anyway. That's all she's been focused on but Sandor made her realize that it didn't have to define her entire life the way it did for him. I thought that was a pretty decent way to end the story between the two of them.

The only thing that was unsatisfying to me was that taking Kings Landing was just way too easy. I think it would have made a lot more sense for Rheagal to have lived into this episode and for him to have died to a scorpion bolt while attacking the city. Also, the Golden Company should have been featured in battle, making the Northern Army and Danys Army take some real losses to break the gate. That would have made Dany losing it and the soldiers being in a frenzy on the inside a bit more understandable but no more justified.

Just a few thoughts on the finale.

I'm pretty certain that Arya is going to shut those green eyes of Danys. She is the Prince(cess) that was Promised. Her's is the Song of Ice and Fire because she is the one who will end both as threats to the Realm. Jon will end up as King because, as Dany said, everyone already loves him. He's the only one who can unite the Kingdoms and bring back peace.

So, I think Dany will die and Jon will live, but I'm not sure about anyone else. I'm not sure if Arya will survive killing Dany or not. I'm not sure if Tyrion will be able to survive betraying Dany long enough to outlast her. Grey Worm is probably dead. Davos probably lives.

I wonder what will happen with Drogon though. He will either have to die, although there isn't a lot left that can kill him right now, or Dany will have a chance to burn Jon and Drogon won't obey or the fire won't hurt him. Jon is a Dragon afterall.
