IMO he is first a facilitator and manager, scoring is only when he needs to score, pretty much a point guard's priorities.

Im convinced it’s not his D that’s keeping him off the floor…I think it’s his shot selection. He’s not taking shots in the flow of the offense. He gets the ball with any space and there’s a pretty good chance he’s putting it up.
