Wildcats left 5 men on base the first three innings; Bearcats were able to put together 3 straight 3-run innings in the 4,5, & 6. The 3-run HR by Alex Griffith was a backbreaker for Dan River.

Congrats to Virginia High and thank you Dan River for a great season. Randolph-Henry and Virginia should be a great game on Friday!

I just read elsewhere that VA High has outscored their playoff opponents 45-3. If true, that's pretty impressive.

And the pitcher who went for them has a scoreless streak of just over 22 innings going.
