Norm Stewart - Steve Stipanovich - Jon Sundvold

I remember when Nebraska knocked them off when they were ranked #1

Anyone else here attend any Kansas City-Omaha Kings games at the old Civic?

Kings had dropped Omaha from the official name by then, but I saw their last regular season game at Civic against the George Gervin-led Spurs. Gervin and the Kings' Scott Wedman pretty much put on a shooting exhibition that night - defense was optional.

I’m pretty sure Pistol Pete was either the most underrated basketball player of all time or the most overrated.

Not sure there’s any in-between.
I’m not listening 🙉 to this bull$&it..

saw pistol pete score 48 down in arizona, 3 guys fouled out trying to guard him and the last guy had 4 fouls. just a few seconds left and they foul him again. he shoots the first one in right handed. stops and looks around making sure everyone was watching and then shoots the second foul shot in left handed for 50. too bad they didnt have the 3 point shot yet.

Dale Brown ex LSU coach went trough old footage of Pete’s games and said Pete would have averaged over 60 points a game if they would have had the 3 point play back in the day…

He also was the first white man offered a million dollars to play for the Globetrotters..

Not sure there’s any in-between.

He averaged 44.2 points per game in college and 24.2 ppg in the NBA.

I'm sure you have amazing analogies as to why these aren't relevant.

Vintage, here is vintage. 1979 Finals. Supposedly the finest of all basketball.

Defense? RollingLaugh

I've seen tougher YMCA games
