He was 100% honest, give him credit for not making excuses.
Why would anyone believe that this defense is going to figure it out? "Thier really fast", "guys are hurt", etc does not explain why teams have easy dump offs that are wide open and no adjustments are made and the massive YAC. It's just too easy, and there is no sign that we can adjust. Schiano has no answers and it's time to move on.

Listen son. @Morrischiano offered nothing in his post. He just cursed. He has taken one too many ozempic shots as he is classless.
Of course not. This team is built to win low scoring rock fights when everyone is healthy. If there are injuries, and they go against an offensive minded coach who runs a sophisticated system, you get results like last night.
Teams built to score more almost always beat teams who are built to score less. It’s that simple. Chimp Schiano doesn’t understand that, and it’s not written in his cherished notes.
Agreed this is not a talent issue. Team is not built to win a shootout? Or staff is not built to win a shootout? Offensive coaching/system and playcalling inefficiencies lead to low scoring. Defense was supposed to be a strength and has shown to be a weakness with too many strategic mistakes and players lacking in simple fundamentals.
The Defense has taken 2 steps backwards from last year. Losing our LB Coach to Minnesota ( now their Defensive Coordinator} was a major contributor. Perhaps he was running the D last season (?)
That's an interesting take. I didn't realize there was a change with LB coach. That would make some sense out of a situation on defense that simply baffles me, injuries or not.
