Congrats to Vicky. I wondered what had happened to her. The detailed write-up on the Houston board chronicled her migrations since departing from RU. IIRC, she was RU's team leader following the graduation of Sue Wicks.

Houston just opened a new football stadium this past season but it appears that they still play bball in Hofheinz Pavilion, which I believe was built in the late 1960s, during the era of Elvin Hayes (I hope I am recalling his name correctly) and following the historic win over UCLA's unbeatable team in the old (then new) Astrodome before something like 60K fans, which was unheard of back then.

I wish RU could find an anonymous donor to provide $20 million for the RAC renovation and practice facility. Those TX schools have done very well recently with large donations that have helped to boost their athletic facilities substantially.

I loved Vicky's play and would consider her for a spot on an RU women's All-Time team (If there was one).

Congrats and good luck. You deserve it!
