In the last ten games of the season, Victoria averaged only 17.6 minutes per game. (A little over a quarter of a game.)

I guess early foul trouble continues to plague her. But also, CVS seems to prefer Caitlin (for her defense and rebounding?).

I don't get it. Early on, Victoria, IMO, looked to be becoming a MUCH better player as a Junior than she was as a Sophomore ... and she was getting better with every game. I really thought she'd be a quite good post by her senior year. What happened?

Why was she averaging only a little over a quarter of a game during the disastrous end of the season? Mostly, I think, in favor of minutes with Caitlin.

I don't know if one could gather the statistics, but I'm pretty sure, the net point margin difference of minutes with Victoria is substantially better than the minutes without her.

In general, IMO, figuring out the second half of this season is very complicated. It's not just about over-dependence on Tyler or Tyler hitting a wall or CVS not playing a modern offense or a soft beginning (it wasn't particularly soft; it had a high SOS).

As another example, Sasha's weakening game also has me totally confused.

I'm not only disappointed. I'm also baffled.

I also thought that Victoria would have a breakout year. She looked very good in the beginning of the year with quick hands (3rd on the team in steals), a nice jump shot from 10-12 feet and the ability to make a layup (which was not one of our team's strengths). I thought she would average close to 10 points per game. Unfortunately, all 4 of our post players combined only averaged 11.1 points per game. Foul trouble was definitely her downfall. She averaged almost 3.4 fouls per game and had 34 more fouls than anyone else on the team.

I was also worried about Stasha's play during the last third of the season. I thought she was, and still may be, the 2nd best player on the team, but it looked to me as though fatigue hit both she and Tyler. That is understandable since they both logged more minutes than anyone else on the team.

I'm still hoping we have several more games this year. If not, my wife and I will be back next season. Hope springs eternal.

I think she will be a very good post her Senior year. She is in her Junior year! I do think that she gets called for a lot of fouls she does not commit. I can't wait to see her game next year.
