Thanks for info.It would seem like there would be a location in the central part of the state instead of 2 locations towards the southern part.

It's difficult to find a spot in the central area of the state when they are using colleges to play at considering UVA is almost always hosting a regional or super regional that time of year. Can't bank on the facilities being available. I'd like to see JMU used seeing as how they just upgraded the grounds there a few years ago.

Yeah, the field at JMU would be a great place to hold it. I am a D3 and D4 fan and I am thrilled beyond believe that I do not have to go back to the furnace that is Radford to watch a state championship game! Going to love going back to L-Burg, all I'm saying.

Yeh JMU would be sweet, only about a hour for the Warriors to go claim there second consecutive state title!
. I expect the 4A North to be between Sherando and Woodgrove this year.

If Woodgrove plays again at the Pepper Dome against Sherando, Barbe should charge double at the gate.

Stick around buddy! You will see I am usually right! Haha if I am not, I always admit when I was wrong. You better jump on board with the Warriors this year. Possible state champions in the following sports. Baseball, and Yes Wrestling, right that one down. Football will come up one game short. And yes not that it is a sport but yes Cheerleading.

Let's review, hamspear:

Football: Yeah, I really hope your Warriors can make it that far (the last game). Better protect the field because you're going to see stout teams a lot better than Colonel James Wood, Judge Handley, SkyHigh, the Milly B, and a first-round patsy after the round of 16.

I'm going to pull for Sherando because I like Hall and how focused this team seems to be. I know they want to party like it's 2007. Protect the field, SHS.

Baseball: No doubt, the Warriors can be in contention again. Entsminger and Whitacre on the bump will give them a very good 1-2. Then you've got the best catcher in the state (at least 3A and 4A combined) in Chase Smallwood, who will be playing at DII Shepherd U next spring. Might be a little thin up the middle but you know Martin always has a knack to fill his lineups with trustworthy bats and kids that want the ball hit to them.

Wrestling: You might be thinking above the clouds there, but I will give you the benefit of the doubt. I know they have a lot of strong kids and experience back, but first? I don't think the program has ever been top-five in AA, let alone capture all the marbles. I will say just be glad Christiansburg is down in 3A now or that proclamation to win it all would be laughed at. Good luck and best wishes, either way.

Cheerleading: Really? You follow "Cheer Comp"? Rah Rah, bro. (They did get second in the state.)

Have fun with another glorified scrimmage this week at Arrowhead.

21 base! Is it the Warriors fault that the competition the last few weeks is less than par. These are schools well established and should have much better consistency in their programs. It's getting kind of old hearing it from everyone else on the football board, but I am surprised to hear from you. You are smarter than most of the nimrods on that board. The games on the schedule are what they are. When the schedule is made, it is anticipated that those teams are going to be good, or as good as they have been some years. The program of Football is simply just better at Sherando, just like basketball is better at Handley and Millbrook. We should be coming down on the teams that are underperforming, not the team that is beating there butts. They need to care enough to be better. At Sherando, it is unacceptable to be mediocre. That's why they do well in most sports.
