I'm not trying to stir up old dirt but seeing Vera Jones on BTN now has me remembering ....

What was that nasty comment she made about Rutgers about 8 or so years ago? I remember Imus's comment but not hers, which I know wasn't as blown up.

She still doesn't appear to be a Rutgers fan.

I do seem to recall something she said...I am sure someone else can remember. I do think she has said many complimentary things about Laney, Scaife and Copper this year though

The last game where she did the color she said nothing but good things about RU, and Laney in particular. She is 100x better than the dope that did the color tonight

She has been very complimentary in every game that I have heard her on this year.

One thing about Vera - she calls em as she sees em. If she said something uncomplimentary in the day, then I'm sure that was what she believed.
