In volleyball it doesn't get any better than Huskers vs Badgers. I hope tonight is the start of a great Husker weekend.

They've raised their level of play in big games so far this year. Hopefully they can show out tonight. Gonna be tough in Madison.

What a killer schedule Huskers have played! By the end of the regular season Nebraska will have played every team currently ranked in the top fifteen, except Texas and Pitt. It will be a tough finish, away and home games against #7 Wisconsin and an away game at #3 Penn State, not to mention an away weekend against #10 Oregon and Washington (just outside top 25, just beat Oregon). I'm hoping that Huskers get through with no more than one loss which should keep them as a #1 bracket seed. They will be battle tested for sure.

I'll be watching. I was at the Devany last year when we played them. Top ten live experience. Was my first live Husker volleyball match as well.
If we win 1 of the first 2 sets, I'll go play a little keno and watch a set or two at Big Red Keno. GBR 👍

I drew a couple of beady eyes on my thumb and darned if it wasn't the spitting image of the Wisconsin coach.

Nebraska won the match by being stronger in the 15-20 point part of each set. They got to 20 with a couple point cushion, putting stress on the Vadgers. Lady Huskers kept up the intensity all the way to 25.

I take back my criticism about playing Olivia Mauch(?) so much this season. There were previous matches when I didn't know why she was out there. She came up big tonight.

It was a great game. Nebraska imposed their will on Wisconsin tonight. You could see the Badger ladies break down in the 3rd and final set. Beason was a beast.

Weird game tonight. I thought for much of it the Huskers were getting outplayed by Badger star Franklin which allowed the Badgers to go on runs. Then at the end of each set Wisconsin made a couple of errors and the Huskers would capitalize and go on to win by a few points. Husker defense was great.

Smrek had one play where she got to run straight at the net, leap up and slam the ball across the net with explosive power for a kill, but other than that she pretty much was not a factor in the game. I think she is just too big and if you make her have to move, she is not as effective.

I did not realize Smrek and two other players are from Canada and Wisconsin has four Euro players on their team.

Has Cook lost all confidence in Krause? I don't remember her playing in this match

Husker defense is always great this year
