doesn’t make our predicament any better but this is crazy bad for vandy. ETSU is not just an FCS program, they didn’t field a team from 03 to 2015. Now I know why the football team does their smack talking at baseball games.

The ETSU game is a great recruiting tool. "Come to Vanderbilt. If you have any talent at all, you'll start as a freshman.

But being a Vandy fan for more than 5 decades, it really shouldn't have been. Alexander Pope wrote "hope springeth eternal". He should have said "crap floweth eternal". Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me 30-40 times, shame on me.

I'm not exaggerating when I say that Vandy may have had the worst loss in SEC history last night.

Getting blown out by an FCS team is horrendous, and it wasn't [presumably] even a good FCS team.

Before Vanderbilt became a pain in the *** in the baseball, I would attempt to relate to their fans suffering.

Now I treat them like every other SEC school and find mild amusement from their pain.
