VA HIGH beats Madison 12-0

Would probably beat most teams in all divisions in the state. Believe they have 4 seniors who have signed with D1 programs. Not for sure but know they have several. Easily the most talented team SWVA has seen in years.

They play several teams out of the talent rich NE TN region throughout the year as well. Rooting heard for a VHS-Strasburg showdown tomorrow.

You get your wish. Strasburg v. VHS for the 2A state championship Saturday.

VHS' Mills was dominating on the mound today v. Madison. Had a perfect game through 6 2/3. Finished with a no-hitter.

It was a tough way to end the season but there is a lot to build on for MC.

Dude denied a perfect game with one out to go? Was it an error or a walk? I hope the plate guy didn't squeeze the kid pitching, if it was a walk.

I say Strasburg takes Virginia. Go Rams!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Was a walk and then an error committed on the next batter. The BB was legit.

Alex Griffith committed to Pittsburgh
Austin Kiser signed with East Tennessee State
Chandler Davis committed to Radford
Daulton Horne signed with King (Div. II)

Not sure about Austin Miles, Chandler Daniels, and so forth, but I'm sure those and maybe some others probably could continue on if they choose. I know I remember reading about one of their seniors going to the Air Force instead. I'd say the center fielder Brown will probably play football in college.
