UVA rumors... Now Gattis

That's interesting. It does seem like something is off with their search process. Someone posted that the UVA "board" had concerns with Poindexter's lack of experience. First of all, why does the Board have a role, that is the job of the AD at any other big time school. Second, as a UVA alum and HOF'er, IMHO that is insulting to Dex. If that concern is out there, why interview him? With respect to the other report that Dex asked for admission standards to be lowered, honestly I would not think that would be such a radical request that it would have eliminated him from consideration. Anyone who thinks UVA has super high standards for athletes is kidding themselves, they already have looser standards. I am not saying they would agree to his "request", but I don't think it would be perceived as so crazy that he was eliminated from consideration. He pulled his name pretty quickly and I find that odd. So now if a deal with Elliott fell through also, It does make you wonder a little bit if these two coaches saw some things that caused them to back out.

I wonder if people remember Mike Tomlin’s job before hired as the HC for one of the premiere franchises in NFL history?

+1. LMAO, They had "concerns" about his experience? Did they think he would get more experience on the drive to Charlottesville?

The way this has played out also has to make you wonder why Bronco Mendenhall really left.
