Buchanan and Francis were both laughing in our own game end game TO. They almost lost the lead and we couldn't finish.Thats how poorly coached teams behave.Men against untalented kids.
Its not about funGod forbid sports be fun. This is always the weakest, lamest complaint.
yup. But for the winners at this level...it is winning that is the fun part. Being up big in a game is the fun part. Sitting on the bench and cheering on your team and watching guys go off is the fun part. Being in a tight end game spot where every possession counts in an effort to win requires focus and resolve. How well do you listen while your laughing? How well do you see while your laughing? It's a distraction that some players can deal with better than others. 1 guy was going 0 fer 5 and the other one lost the ball just after carelessly.God forbid sports be fun. This is always the weakest, lamest complaint.
You and Dark Check have severe PDS....Pikiell Derangement SyndromeBuchanan and Francis were both laughing in our own game end game TO. They almost lost the lead and we couldn't finish.Thats how poorly coached teams behave.
And you're a loser.. and also a pathetic one.You and Dark Check have severe PDS....Pikiell Derangement Syndrome
Your constant bitching and moaning is so pathetic.
FU. Glad you took it so personally. I guess you truly have PDS...What a disgusting post. You have proven you are truly psychotic and cannot be rational. And you're a loser.. and also a pathetic one.
And the perfect example of a poster , fan (financial supporter?) Who just loves mediocrity and finds every excuse in the book to support it and perpetute it's existence here. Fans LIKE YOU are the reason our athletic program has been one of the worst "Big Time" programs for the past 40 years.
Question for you..do you swallow or spit it out at the end?
Here's a suggestion..Put me on Ignore. PLEASE.
Are you saying that because it was so lousy before Pike it’s acceptable now to have Bless the rains, a throw away year, then a laughing stock year where we fail with two lottery picks and now this. Or, are you just saying in your fight with DHajek that you know how bad things are?FU. Glad you took it so personally. I guess you truly have PDS...What a distgusting post. You have proven you are truly psychotic and cannot be rational.
Most of us have been fans for 30+ years and we all know know how sh***y things have been before Pike arrived.
You have been added to ignore.
GO RU!!
It’s not PDS it’s called knowing reality. And there’s more than just two of us. Some I guess you’re too much of a coward to call out. You live in lala land, embrace mediocrity and are a big reason we’re laughed at as a sports program. My prior post was a legit question trying to understand your pov. But then scrolling up I see you called me out so I can see you’re the champion of moral victories and polish your participation trophies. You and Dark Check have severe PDS....Pikiell Derangement Syndrome
Your constant bitching and moaning is so pathetic.
No. I am not saying it is acceptable to Bless him with a ten year contract extension but we are currently in an NIL bind and until that gets fixed I will support Pike since no coach can change the trajectory without the $$$. The rules changed and Rutgers did not adjust but I am an RU fan at heart and I support them. Are you saying that because it was so lousy before Pike it’s acceptable now to have Bless the rains, a throw away year, then a laughing stock year where we fail with two lottery picks and now this. I have a bad rep on here but I’m always up for a discussion. Thanks for answering. I truly believe we all just want Rutgers to be good. I agree with you that more NIL is better than less and that we are stuck with this contract so we might as well make the most of it. If Zinn can get Pike $$ do it. I don’t want the guy to fail, that just makes folks laugh at us more. We differ and can debate however whether we’ll actually be successful investing in Pike but it’s certainly you’re right to feel he can turn it around and believe it him. I don’t despise you for it I just disagree is all. Would be happier to eat crow though than be “right”.No. I am not saying it is acceptable to Bless him with a ten year contract extension but we are currently in an NIL bind and until that gets fixed I will support Pike since no coach can change the trajectory without the $$$. Pike did some great things without NIL prior so if we get him the support needed I think things can vastly improve. There are some quality players on this team that most fans wanted run out of town when we struggled earlier in the season.
Were we ever expecting them to have a banner year? NO. But we are more competitive than most thought based on some early season games.
I think we need to give credit where credit is due in that most fans thought we would lose every game by 30 points. Now in close games we are nitpicking everything even though the team is falling a little short but still competitive. At least they are being competitive and definitely easier to watch than last year's team.I think Pike is a class act and represents the University very well.
Unfortunately we took a step backwards last year with talent because we needed to feed the stars and when Ace and Dylan missed so many games it was disappointing.
Thanks for listening and asking me to have a rational conversation rather than making digusting sexual references.
Go RU. I know we both want basketball to be successful. We just have a different way of expressing it.I have a bad rep on here but I’m always up for a discussion. Thanks for answering. He was successful with the right core group and developing them. You have to admit there were quite the recruiting misses though before NIL. So they weren’t developable players. Water under the bridge. Are there pieces on this team worth developing. A few. I was happily wrong on Francis and now want him to start. Buchanan has heart. Dortch is quite coachable and flexible. Sadly it seems Grant and Mark want out. Powers and Zrno could fill a meaningful role for a big ten team but not start. The real debate is do we have time in the current era to develop, be patient and wait for the payoff that might take more than a year. While I don’t think NIL is the only blame, and you might l, which you’re entitled to think, the game HAS changed. Hoops is like Indiana in football. Go out and pay for experience. Adapt your offensive systems to fit their talent. Coach them up on d but not square peg in a round hole. I think If Pike adapts some he could be successful. But when he fed us the “back to the lunch pail group” line it sept it was both not truthful and might take 2-3 years to pay off vs conf opponents who’ve gone full mercenary and headhunters. So not only has the game changed on what Pikes good at (time and development), but the opponents have become less forgiving.
Are we better than most thought, ABSOLUTELY. I FOOLISHLY predicted one big ten win only. But in year ten is this where we should be, regardless of the excuses. I know it’s a chicken and egg with the contract etc that we’ve already discussed.
I think some in my camp need to realize that some of the fanbase like some progress and has hope which is not a bad thing. But those opposed to us need to realize we don’t hate Pike, we just wanted to stay relevant as we were 5-7 years ago. I didn’t expect to make a final four, just be a ncaa team 3 out of 4 years.
Pike is a class act and a good representative of RU. That says a lot. Best case he gets nil, uses it well and we’re where usc is in 2026-27. I just want him to invest in and play only 7-8 guys, have a more structured offense, and have a top ranked d again because I still believe good, long d can be had in the portal at bargain prices. Let’s go back to winning rock fights, sharing the ball and not giggling during timeouts and the alma mater after a loss. Rock the RAC!
You state “knowing reality” but for the 10000x ignore the reality of large remaining contract and no NIL. THAT IS THE PARAMOUNT REALITY. Maybe next year we can just pin a ***** fest thread at the top where you, RU division and others can just keep responding to each other repeatedly. I am sure those calling out those for “settling for mediocrity” are nothing but mediocre in their own lives. I am also willing to bet that those “settling for mediocrity” in our sports programs are some of the most successful in their lives. I know for a fact that some of our big boosters who still support our “mediocre” coaches because they know the situation are in fact anything but mediocre. It’s not PDS it’s called knowing reality. I think you’re being truthful but I can’t tell. I feel the beginning is all true but do admit to repeating a lot of the same over and over.you don’t have a bad rep at all. You engage respectfully and don’t come up with the most insanely outlandish criticisms of Pike (or repeat yourself over and over again).

You might be right about our largest boosters but I wonder if the biggest boosters from other big ten schools would accept Rutgers level of success? You also could be right about the status of those who accept mediocrity vs want more. I am quite pleased with my success in life, I just like it better when Rutgers is a ncaa or even a bubble team plain and simple. You state “knowing reality” but for the 10000x ignore the reality of large remaining contract and no NIL. Well said....I guess it would have been better if we got crushed by MSU and USC so we would not have to hear the complaints about how Pike caused the loss due to missed shots, turnovers, time outs, wrong substitution patterns, not getting technical fouls, awful recruiting, not starting Francis and not fouling with 17 seconds left. I may have missed a couple other complaints. You state “knowing reality” but for the 10000x ignore the reality of large remaining contract and no NIL. THAT IS THE PARAMOUNT REALITY. Now the beginning of your post is where I will meet you half way. I agree with you reality is Pike is going nowhere because of his contract. I have said on here before that’s a fact and we might as well make the most of it. But I will debate with you your NIL point. First you say we have none. We have some. Lowest quarter in all of p4. But I think it’s short sighted to think that’s the only reason we’ve been bad. We have more NiL than some of the cupcakes who played us tough or beat us the last few years. Teams like Yale this year are quality with little NIL. Of course more NiL for Pike is better than less. But I think it’s a little silly to not recognize there’s not rotational issues, goofs like not getting Ewin or defense with the $ we had last year, a lack of offensive structure and general accountability. I should be able to admit you’re right that Pikes going nowhere and we might as well support him while you should be able to discuss with me that NIL isn’t all that’s holding us back without either of us resorting to name calling. Have a great week!
I think you’re being truthful but I can’t tell. I feel the beginning is all true but do admit to repeating a lot of the same over and over.
????....I know you are trying to say something but ranting like a psychopath again.A fvcking AMEN... you're the ahole who

????....I know you are trying to say something but ranting like a psychopath again.
As RU Insanity said "This type of post only makes you look like you believe that you are somehow superior than other fans simply because they choose to try and stay positive about a few things with the program.
I will stay positive and root for RU to improve.
