Marshall should should agree to a home and home series with the Pioneers. It would be good for the state. If they won't do that it could only mean they are afraid. Did I just make that up or did I hear something similar in the past?

Sagarin ranks Marshall's current strength of schedule at 329 of the 363 schools playing Div. 1 BB. I would imagine that after their game against Glenville State that ranking will slide much closer to the bottom. And Marshall people wonder why they cannot get an invite to March Madness unless they win their conference championship.
better stony brook than queens college......just sayin......when THE Glenville State University Pioneers are one of your tougher outs then your strength of schedule needs some revisions...wouldn;t you say?….says an old buzzard that has Stony Brook set dead in his sights.
At least Stony Brook plays at the Division 1 level. Can't say the same for Glenville State, one that Doctrine Dan scheduled as a regular season game instead of just a pre-season exhibition game like most Div. 1 teams do when they dip down into the Div. 2 opponents. But we are getting used to that as Dan seems to schedule a team from the MEC every year and count it as a regular season game.….says an old buzzard that has Stony Brook set dead in his sights.

WV strength of schedule is 27......marshlas is 183....3 of WV opponents have schedule strength worse than marshla... all the rest of WV opponents are above marshla...most of them far above. So why should WV play marshla? There is no benefit...when WV wins then it's " well it's just marshla".....and if the stars happen to align just once and the upset occurs WV never hears the end of it

Yep, Doctrine Dan put his foot in his mouth and had to replace the Capitol Classic with scheduling teams from the Mountain East Conference. I hope he learned his lesson about what happens when you poke the Huggy Bear.
