UNC moved up 5 positions and is now ranked 16th in the AP poll
Moved down 2 positions and ranked 19th in the Top25 & 1 poll

Meanwhile our ladies have one loss since 01/15/26 to Duke and avenged that loss on Sunday at home and we’re a three seed in the ACC tourney. It will be interesting to see what the committee chooses to reward as our tourney seed based upon the various data points. Will the eye test carry more weight or the metrics. We’ve clearly gotten better as a team with far more rhythm. We’re healthier and still absent our All Conference player (Reniya K.) from last season. It appears that we will still need to win at least two in the ACC tourney to secure a 4 seed.
