3.2 million unemployed. Currently, there is 398k confirmed cases and 17k deaths.

So, unemployment is 8x confirmed cases and 188x deaths.

Which is why you can’t have a full shutdown. Record unemployment is not something you just flip a switch and fix. Like it or not, the economy is screwed and we are probably headed for a bad recession, if not a depression.

And all this just to likely have the virus return when social distancing is eased.
