Undefeated Teams in 2A Soccer

This is pretty late in the season for five undefeated teams (if I'm missing a sixth please add) which are pretty well scattered around the state.
1. Robert E. Lee: Goals scored 96. Goals Allowed 1
2. Giles: Goals scored 89. Goals Allowed 5.
3. Nandua: Goals scored 61. Goals allowed 10
4. Goochland: Goals scored 71. Goals allowed 3.
5. George Mason: Goals Scored 89. Goals allowed 7.

Are we looking at the champ in this list? It doesn't always translate that way. It is just an odd stat to see this far into the season. Giles in the only West school on this list, but that doesn't mean they are walking into the finals. There are still some pretty solid schools with one or two losses. As for the east, my bet would be one of those 4 will be playing on a Saturday in Radford. But again, I just thought it was an interesting stat.

Don't count Maggie Walker out. They've had losses, and given up goals, but their schedule is full of 5A and 3A teams. Losing 1-0 or even 3-0 to undefeated Deep Run is probably better than beating a 1A team 10-0.

D is a race between Graham (not overly impressive), VA High (see previous comment), and Richlands (better, but I think the injury bug hit them.)

Maggie Walker seems like a solid pick, expect Nandua to be the other team from this region. Goochland plays in district that is not very good top to bottom and they only play each other.

Mason appears to be back to form and last season was an aberration. RE Lee could make noise and be the spoiler....remember the 'upset' last season.

Region C is Giles to lose. Nelson, JR, Martinsville - 1 of those 3 will face Giles, the seeding of the region tourney will determine that.

Region D - Graham and Va High seem to be the best, but expect a rematch of the Region C final in the state semifinal.

I know Lee's win upset my picks. LOL In A, I agree. There is no good measuring stick for Goochland, so I would take MW and Nandua as well. As for C, Martinsville is quite an X-factor. They could end up at the 2 spot...or as low as 4 (unlikely). They are getting some quality wins though. I know I will be going to Martinsville come tournament time and not Bluefield that is for sure.
