UNC, Indiana, Kansas are left....

Out of the remaining teams, these three are the ones that we collectively don't want to win the title. If it has to be one of those three, who would you rather it be?

My choice is Kansas. Only gives them 4 overall titles. Next I guess would be UNC (giving them 6), and last Indiana (giving them 6).

That being said, I hope it's one of the other remaining teams. One of the above gets taken out tonight anyway.

UNC is the absolute last team I'd want to see win, I don't even want them to reach the FF. The fact nothing has happened to them is awful. In a perfect world, IU takes down UNC and then loses to ND in the E8. All while Nova takes out KU.

Nova could win but I was more afraid of Maryland. We match up really well with Nova. KU showed a toughness and craftiness yesterday that gives me faith. However Mason is hurt and Graham was sick so it depends on how those guys recover. Greene is also hurt and can't play so Svi will have to step it up.

Nova doesn't really have an answer for Perry so that bodes ill for them.

Indiana has no chance. They will lose tonight. There are 4 legit contenders with Kansas, Villanova, UNC & Oklahoma. Oregon comes in at 5th. Obviously, one of those teams will be the winner. I'm pulling for Villanova.

Even if UNC wins the tournament, their total should go down once the smackdown is laid down on their program.....or should I say "if" the smackdown comes to them?

Kind of depends how our resident Kansas jerk-offs behave over the next few days. An awful lot of them came out of the wood work last night. I kind of don't blame them. Elite 8's are a big deal for Kansas.

I'd say Kansas is trending up, and UNC is trending down for teams I'd least liek to see win the title. That's not to say UNC isn't 1. just how it's going lately..

I DO need UNC to fall sooner than later though. If they win tonight I lose my Draft Pool. If they win the title, my all-time record gets broken. So I guess they are still #1 for now.

I think UNC is the team most likely to win it all, but my first choice would be Gonzaga for Wiltjer.

If not them, then Oregon - the team least likely to be able to sustain their success going forward IMO.

Yes, I came to these forums in.. 2006 maybe?.. as a different name before I got banned. UNC fans were pretty bad back then, even going up to the Harrison Barnes era when they were last relevant. While I recognize that, I still recognize that they don't even show their faces here anymore, which is nice.

On the flip-side: Kansas fans. Kansas and Kentucky fans were on the same page until Cal got here. Then they got all pissy because they didn't like the fact that we didn't have garbage coaching anymore and could compete with them again (so sorry for that, by the way..).

If this went solely on ****** fans, Kansas by a mile.

I think what makes me angrier than anything about IU is that they are legitimately happy and excited just to make the sweet 16. Anything past that is gravy, but beating UK and making the sweet 16 is already the cherry on top for their season. They even celebrate sweet 16 "runs". Well, yes, I would rather KU win than UNC. I think your school at least requires athletes to take classes. However, both you and UNC claim bogus Helms titles, so in that regard, there is not much difference. When the smoke clears, I hope it is Nova, or Oregon.

Those are my 3 I don't want of course. But my order of preference if one has to win is....

1. Kansas-some of their fans are obnoxious, but hey so are some of ours. I really have no animosity towards the program or Bill Self despite killing whatever that rodent is atop his head.

2. Indiana- I hate them but they've been so bad lately for a "blue blood" program, if they even are that anymore, it's almost sad. And at 32 years old I don't really even remember them being the dominant team. If Knight was still the coach itd be a lot easier to hold my hatred.

3. UNC- a decade of cheating and their denial and insistence on the "Carolina Way" would make them my last team to win if Isis had a college in the tournament.

Thinking along same lines as you, pretty much. IU tonight and then let them get blown out after that. Just don't want to see UNC going any further as the NCAA seems to be letting them off the hook for cheating for, what, over 20 years? My real choices to win it all, at this point, would include Oklahoma, Nova, UVA - something along those lines.
