If anyone thought that Belichick was going to turn North Carolina into a national contender in his first season then they just weren't being realistic. Who knows, maybe he never will get it turned around but to base his success off of their first game is pretty ridiculous.

I don't think anyone was expecting that. But most people also were not expecting UNC to get completely dominated. That was embarrassing.

Tuned in to the start of the game and that place was on cloud 9 after the first UNC drive and then 3 & out for TCU. Reality check apparently hit hard.... checked back in later to see 41-7

I would be a little concerned if I were a UNC fan about a former NFL coach who just took 50 million from the school and is what 72 years old. I really don't get it unless they really think they were going to get kids from the NIL to come running in and signing up to play for Bill. I think Bill took the school for all the money he could get, I hope I'm wrong because I like the school personally. Good luck UNC.

When you put it that way, it seems like a monumentally dumb decision to hire him. Best case scenario is that you squeeze a couple of good seasons in before he is ready for the glue factory. He'll be 78 when his five year contract expires.

If he doesn't expire before his contract does. Sorry I couldn't resist, I really don't wish that on him but I really do feel he did take the money just for the cash only and not because he really misses football. I think if missed football that much he could have done some consulting work for any NFL team if he wanted to stay connected with the game. jmo

Just curious why he'd want to put so much energy into coahging when he's got a cute lil thang waiting for him at home. How much Energy can a seventy seven year old guy really have anyway

Reminds me of the chronology of banging my wife. Sorry no wife pics or banging pics.
Right??
Remember, depending on how old you are, those naughty/playful texts during the day, the coming home during the day to bang, the just coming home and drinking your dinner and *******...

Then one day YOU have to "grow up" and it all stops. Fun stuff!
