With Hull likely going to the draft, and Kellis/French graduating, I hope we at least talk to Bino Watters. Will cost a good amount, but really good player. Even if we don't, I trust the staff to identify replacements

I would assume Nunez has the best shot based on usage this season, but the others could take a step forward. They’ve all shown promise at points.

My uneducated guess at the lineup for 2027

1 - CF, CJ Ergie (R). 325 (BA) / 474 (OBP) / 920 (OPS) + 46 steals. Gonna be a fun player
2- SS, Jamie Laskofski (L). 355 / 464 / 1129. Hits for a surprising amount of power
3 - 3B, Cooper Nicholson (R) 262 / 432 / 1002. Surprisingly good plate discipline
4 - C/DH, Macon Winslow (R) 293 / 427 / 916
5- 1B, Eric Paulsen (L) 296 / 423 / 910
6 - 2B, Kole Fenton (R) 397 / 477 / 1107. Good chance to make a huge impact early and move up in the lineup
7 - OF, Tyler Howe (L) 245 / 373 / 713. Need a big jump at the plate from him
8 - OF, Jayden Nunez (R) 286 / 394 / 858
9 - DH/C, Russel / Schwartz (R) Both have consistency concerns, but have ~950 OPS upside

We add some serious speed and power to replace Hull and Schaffner. We add a high upside player to replace Gallaher. And the catchers to replace Hynek. Then we really just need some development from the existing guys to take us over the top

I agree with you on Ergie. That kid is ridiculously fast.

I went through about half of their box scores this morning and it looks like he got most of his work this season in Right Field.
Could be good competition for Howe.

Note: I thought he was mostly a catcher, so thanks for the deep review!
