Brown is the one recruit I wanted more than any since last year he is an above the rim guy and plays like a monster

Brown and Maker who I am hoping for!!! Please my Lord Jesus Christ let Brown and Maker come to the greatest university that has ever been created in your whole universe!!! We are #1 in nation in both recruiting and AP poll if that happens!!!

Means little, we were in good shape with a lot of guys and got down to final 2 for Newman and Diello...looked how that turned out.

Don't get too excited, this kid is going to an Adidas school 1000% and Michigan is the one that's left.

I'm curious why so many think Michigan will be the school? It use to be UCLA and they were cut. Now everyone is on the Michigan bandwagon. Did Brown say anything about it that I missed? Cal has been on Brown since the beginning. That doesn't mean he gets him but I wouldn't beat against it.

Apparently it is all about shady shoe stuff. I'm not well versed enough to tell you UKfan03. Someone else can. That is the only reason I think it will be Michigan though, because when people say shady shoe stuff dictates where a guy goes...it usually happens.

I really hope UK can land him. Would fill in the last gap we have (well maybe having a backup center would be nice too). Anyhow, he's who I've wanted the most since the Spring signing period began. I know he didn't have the greatest All-Star showing, but the dude is ranked as high as he is for a reason.

Weren't the Harrison Twins 1000% Maryland because of Under Armour? The shoe thing is a tad overplayed in my opinion.

Yea I just watched a video on ESPN and it quoted Brown saying he's "definitely going to a adidas school". This class looks pretty much wrapped up then. It's still one heck of a class.

Michigan absolutely no doubt in my mind. His fam doesnt like UK and he has family ties in Mich. He is an Adidas man also.

A lot of people on this site hates MJ but this is actually the first positive thing I have heard him say about any of the recent recruits

murray hasn't even reclassified yet and like runner said hasn't said if he will.

michigan is still in harbaugh mode. beilein did a good job helping pass the time. business decision brown. come get 35mpg. please?

It's encouraging news (I guess), but not exactly groundbreaking.

A lot of recruiting folks have said for several weeks that it was possible for UK to come in 2nd for all of the "big names" that were left in this class and so far it seems to have gone down exactly like that. And here we are once again allegedly in the top 2. I think Brown wants UK, while his family and/or certain "others" want UM. The latter tends to win out against UK, especially when ADIDAS is heavily involved. I hope that's not the case and the kid gets to go where he wants to, not where it's being politely suggested that he should go by certain folks.

We found out last year that UK would have been the second choice of several of last year's players too. Oubre and Johnson for sure. I think there was at least one other.

Among all the remaining big recruits so many have been wringing their hands over, Brown seems the one most "suited" to UK's class and needs - he seems to be a pure wing player and that is the one position have not been able to fill for awhile now.

I trust In Cal and I think he is selling this kid on the fact that we do not have a 3 and if he comes in strong he CAN be the main guy on the best college team in the world he just has to come in strong!! This kid dosent have to go to a lesser school to be the "guy" it's on the table for him at UK all he has to do is accept the role!! A combo of him and Mathews at that spot I like that

the guy is credible and i follow him on twitter .he has called a few lately dead on so there's that... But who knows . I do know that whether we get Brown or not it will have zero to with family or shoes as the recruiting gurus i trust like Biancardi ( sp) and others all have said time and time again Brown is making this strictly a business decision.

He plays like I thought James Young was going to play like when he committed. I really hope we land him; we'd have by far the best starting 5 in the country.

Why the hell would he go to UM to compete against Lavert and Irvin at the 3? Irvin at the 4? No freaking way. And don't tell me he'd start over Lavert. Not happening. We have a wide open wing slot. I'm saying he comes here or Cal. IMO
