34-29 in 3rd quarter shooting 13 for 40. Going to be a long year for old Tim. No one looks to score. Zone RU and nothing happens. Could lose this game

39-29 shooting 14-42, 4-12 3pt and 7-12 FT. Outrebounding a very small SP team only 29-27. 18 Turnovers for us and 26 for SP

RU 46-32 7:04 remaining in the game.

B1G could be interesting this year and not in a good way. Minnesota lost, and Michigan is in overtime.

One big difference I’ve seen in looking at the box score so far is that Rutgers has played 14 players. Don’t recall going that deep ever. Usually played a rotation of 8 or 9.

Happy for the win. Would have been nice to break 60. No quarter with single-digit scoring, so that is good.

Watch on BTN Plus

The last time Eatman filled in he used a long bench. Most of the time rotating 5 out, 5 in and pressing all game. He Used 10 minimum each game. I think he is gonna use 10-12.

For a while, CVS seemed to play different groups within the games, with most if not all the roster getting minutes. It was fresh legs followed by fresh legs. Contributed to my avatar choice. The rotation tightened for conference play, and there were frequent complaints on the board that so-and-so should get more minutes (as I recall).

Wow, Doom and gloom season scenario in the 3rd quarter of the first game. Literally, 16-20 minutes into the season... 😂😂 Lol.

Has to be one of the most ridiculous overreactions to 2 quarters of BB I have ever seen.

I’ll have to get BTN+. We have B10 network out here but haven’t had a chance to see too many women’s games.

I guess I’m remembering back a ways like 2007 through 2015…..we moved out here in late 2015 and gave up our season tix. There were definitely a lot of complaints about going deeper on the bench and X player not getting minutes!

Hopefully part of the problem was all the players who never played together in a real game before.
Major issues tonight too many turnovers, too many fouls - 25 foul shots for St. P, only hit 16, and apparently no go to crunch time player.

I got that alert as well. Was annoyed and didn't read the board. Came here for reactions and saw they won. The app has done this a few times over the last year.
