Is the U-Conn game on the tee vee machine? And I cannot believe I did not watch the SMU game. Shame on me, but glad they handed the cheaters a well-deserved loss.

A lot of people skipped watching the SMU game. I talked to some people who are decent fans who had no idea we had won until I told them. That's what you get for assuming. Reminds me of when I left the Miracle in the Snow to go get hot chocalate at Wendy's.

I actually thought they could win given the close game there last season, but the game was late on the East Coast and I was sick, so I needed sleep.

My son now lives in Virginia and we were texting after the game, which was after 11 PM his time, and I told him he needed to get to bed and get some sleep so he could work the next day and he replied "I can't, I'm pumped!". Luckily I had over 2 hours to come down before I had to go to bed but that kind of game gets your Adrenalin going and you're ready to go a few rounds after. When Juice hit that first free throw to get us up 4 points I yelled so loud the dog ran out of the house.

Yeah, It took me a couple of hours to calm down after that one. I re-watched last two minutes about a dozen times, in particular the Milton vs. Birt stare down.

We haven't had that kind of attitude on the court since Coley, Heard, Kurtz, and Shelton. Somewhere Wojcik is talking about recruiting quality guys and Adrian Hernandez and Brandon Jackson have barely used TU gear sitting around.

The SMU players seem pretty douchey ... its really a detestable athletic program (historically so) .. I loves me some Pat Birt and had the privilege of sepnding a Sunday afternoon watching him go off on Cougar High

So you know, Shake Milton is a big time recruit from Owasso that wouldn't look at us and turned down OU and Indiana for that historic power, SMU. That's part of why we are enjoying that exchange so much. It's Jerryl Sasser situation on steroids (if you recall, we really wanted Sasser and he spurned us for our favorite coach Mike DeMent).

There's a dood on here that claims we are bad people for being critical of Shake, and tries to offer some histrionics about why he rightfully turned down TU. But to that I say: SCOREBOARD MF'er!

Wait until Larry retires after this season and Jankovich is head coach...all those Larry kids are going to be jumping ship like the rats jumping from the Titanic

Temple is lucky they should have lost both the Tulsa and the UCONN games.

They play a style for 35 minutes as the coach lays out and then in the last five minutes they start jacking up threes and hit them.

Not going to work every game.

GO TU!!!!

Larry Brown had a lengthy talk with Shaq after the game. Brown is hard to impress so that was quite a complement.

How is UCONN an 8 pt favorite? SMU was only 10 at game tip...I can see 3 maybe 4, 8 is too much.

Probably because of Brimah (sp?)
Seems awfully high considering the results of the last time we played and the results of each times last game...
Dammit... if we win tomorrow they'll be able to hear me screaming from Owasso as they're lining up for the handshake.

I peeked in The Boneyard and even their fans are surprised at the line.

They're probably confused why UCONN is playing a bunch of insurance salesmen.
More confusing would be why all these insurance salesman call Tulsa, not Hartford, home. Hartford is the insurance capital of the world so we should do well there

lines are set based on average performance at home. I thought the line would be 4 1/2-5, but apparently UConn's average home performance is 3 points better than the overall line from Sagarin.
