I am taping this game and saying prayers for Nika Muhl who sprained her ankle yesterday against St. John's and was on crutches. Nika had been playing great before the injury, had 5 points, 4 assists and 4 steals while putting tremendous ball pressure on the opposing PG. She is a classic ball hawk and reminds us of a bigger and more athletic Jen Rizzotti. Geno played his bench extended minutes in the 4th quarter yesterday and starters should be somewhat fresh today.

Nika status was unknown as of Geno's presser but he was leaving open the possibility she can still play in BE Tourney. If anyone has an update please post it.

Best game of the year by Chrystyn Williams. 26 points, 6 boards, 3-5 on 3s, and held Maddie Siegrist, the Big East's leading scorer and rebounder with averages of 24 and 11, to 3 points and 3 rebounds. The only 3 points Siegrist got was on an O-board putback and foul in which she should have been boxed out but snuck in. She should have been bagelled. Anyway I don't think Williams could play any better. Hope she can keep up and sustain her recent level of play which has been excellent.
