Our friend Buffalo gave UConn a real run for their $$ in the 4th. Had it to single digits. Final UConn 84 - Buffalo 72.

With RU down to 8 players, 7 healthy, they were the better team last Friday. I particularly admired how hard they must have practiced breaking our 55, especially in the first quarter, and how well they executed that practice.
But they weren't a better team than we were early in the conference season. That Rutgers team would have beaten Buffalo easily.

I just saw this score and was very surprised
Buffalo was down 18-2, and idk if they eases off at some point, but with 2:41 to go, it was 75-67, 8 point lead.
THAT is impressive.
So I guess Buffalo is no joke, and not as much of a shock we lost as initially thought.
Disappointing, yes.
But not embarrassing.
I agree re: our 55. Though maybe we should have changed up especially to give our girls a breather. Thought we wore down late.
