Uconn had that lofty ranking for awhile and is under .500 in a very mediocre conference. Probably should be dropped from the rankings now since there’s about 6 other teams ahead of them in conference standings
You know - - to be honest I saw the post saying shu won and my reaction actually surprised me. I said “good”.
Honestly. With the passage of time, not in same league. I really don’t care about shu. In a way it’s a bit of a shame since the rivalry was fun. But for me, it’s all about the Big10 and ncaas.
Their win helps our NET - that’s all that matters
They are a bubble team right now??? They are quite alive to make the tournament. They have ~ 7 games they should be favored in.
I think they can. If they beat Marquette next I think they will start to show up in brackets.
The rivalry is still fun. It’s the one RU home game this season that you couldnt buy single game tickets when the other games go on sale.

Rivalry is no fun if one team sucks. I mean, I’d rather they suck than we suck but better if both teams are good. Though maybe not too good lol

They won in The Rac last month and are 2-0 vs RU the last two.
When teams win on the road in a rivalry it adds juice.
RU is clearly the better team but SHU currently has the bragging rights

Conference standings shouldn’t determine ranking order necessarily. Obviously they aren’t meaningless in general lol
It's funny, when RU wins a game the Hall message board says the BIG is over rated. When SHU wins, our fans claim the team they beat is over rated. Maybe just congratulate the other team for a good win.
Ur always the class act. And the big difference is Shaheen isn’t Willard. Don’t know what post season we’ll make but feel it won’t be the Willard one and gone.
UConn still ranked based on the team they were a month ago. They’re not that team anymore
I said when SHU was 8-8 that I felt they had a good team and woul;d make a run for an NCAA berth. I think they have a very good chance of making the dance.
I haven't really had a hatred for Seton Hall since we left the Big East. I actually find myself rooting for them at times like tonight. I'd much rather see UConn lose than Seton Hall
After a great start, UConn is in a free fall. They've now lost 5 of their last 6!
I’ve been saying that UConn is the 2nd most overrated team in the country behind only Indiana.They started too high in the rankings so it takes a lot to knock them out of the top 25. Meanwhile we were underrated and it took winning 7 of 8 to get ranked and if we lose tomorrow you can be sure we’ll be dropped.
It’s a great rivalry as the players are very familiar with each other. Battle of NJ.
