Flagrant was correct call.

We need to take our time against this zone. Jefferies for three isn’t patient.

We always look really sluggish on offense compared to other teams...slow ball movement.

Wasn't expecting a win, but was hopeful.

The recent winning streak was more related to schedule than improvement.

Need to cover the corner...getting exposed badly.

uconn isn’t even good. Sure hope the defensive effort gets better in the second half

Lucky to be down 9 with Henderson, and Igbanu sitting a considerable amount. If they can play their normal minutes in the 2nd half I suspect we comeback and win.

Well, we’re down less than 10 so that’s a plus. We tend to start out slow then outplay opponents in the second half. Unfortunately we also tend to dig the hole so deep we can’t climb out. This should be a climbable hole.

Upon way too hot from 3, some lucky shots, but wide open. Poor defense in the zone. I'm surprised Haith didn't mix up the D with man. Only Taplin has played well. Hopefully, TU can come back to make it close and cause UConn to play as tight as TU played in the first half. I'm not optimistic. Typical road game at UConn.

just noticed zero second half fouls for UCONN. I can kind of believe it based on how poor their D has been, but that’s gonna be tough for us at the end with them already in the bonus

Taplin on fire, 7/8 from 3! If we could play some defense & rebound a little, we could win this one.

Where the hell is this Taplin every game? This is what is infuriating with this team. Henderson capable of going for 30, Etou, Taplin can go for big numbers, Jeffries can take over a game, and Igbanu can be unstoppable inside at times. Yet we rarely (if ever) see all 5 of them produce in the same game. And I get where if one guy goes for 30 we’re not having 2 others go for 30’as well, but we should be getting 12-15 pts from Etou and Henderson on nights when Taplin is going off. I’d be happy if Jeffries pitched in 10 and 10 every night. Same with Igbanu.

Thus far this is THE BEST 2nd half of TU basketball this season. 31 points in 1st half and 31 in first 11:30 of the 2nd half.

Absurd that Taplin refuses to go get the ball. If it was Haith’s call to put it in someone else’s hands then that’s insane

UCONN timer stops clock with UCONN down 5 and the tells officials when UCONN ties it up. Contestable game.
