So UCONN is hiring former NFL and UCLA head coach Jim Mora, Jr. to be the head coach beginning Nov. 28th (presumably after the last game of the season). He will serve as an assistant coach until them which allows him to recruit. I only mention this because Lou may get to keep his DC job with UCONN after the season. He was DC at UCLA for 2 years under Mora before moving back to the NFL as LBs coach for the Titans.

Why UConn football sucks

Interesting article on UConn being left behind in conference realignment, a couple interesting points for us. First, UConn was kind of lackadaisical about the conference changes while other schools were fighting like hell to get into better conferences, and the fight like hell schools won and UConn lost. Are we fighting like hell? And having Jim Calhoun was a negative for them in realignment cause everyone knew he was bad news. Which hopefully will put an end to the Art Briles nonsense.
