Hey guys, have question for you.

I have a big group of people going to the washington game, but not enough cars or parking passes to get everybody there.

Is it reasonable to have people uber to and from the dark blue tailgating lot? I'm not sure how easy it'll be for an Uber driver to get to the blue lot after the game for a pick up...

Any suggestions?

Getting there is super easy for the Uber or Lyft . Drop off essentially at the “front door” of the lot.

Afterwards much different story. What I recommend is to hop on a bus back to colllege Ave (they are pretty efficient after the game). And then get your ride share of choice back there. Easy pickup.

• Ride sharing apps, such as Uber and Lyft, offers fans another safe and reliable option to travel to and from SHI Stadium. Lot 49 is designated as the pick-up location, while an area just past the roundabout across from the Blue Lot will serve as the drop off point on game day. Click here for more information on Lot 49.

Hmm... I don't think that'll be a good option for us. We have a visitors coming from Europe with kids and have never been to an american football game before. I am familiar with that exit option (bus to college ave), but I think for people completely unfamiliar with that it'll be overwhelming...

Uber/Lyft used to have a dedicated area to pick up after the game. IIRC it was by the Hill Center but it has probably been moved within the past 3-5 years. I see people hanging around the bus stop on Bartholomew outside of the Sonny Werblin Rec Center waiting for their rides.

Edit: there's also plenty of "normies" traffic by the Student Center.

The buses and parking lots are a mess after the game. I would recommend walking over landing lane bridge and getting the uber pickup from Easton Avenue or College Avenue.

Al is 100% correct here, especially with what we expect to be a packed stadium, leaving will be a mess. I had to use a ride share a couple of years ago after the OSU game and they kept canceling because they couldn't get close to the stadium. I stupidly (or smartly?) walked to the RU golf course parking lot and finally got something about an hour after I first tried.

So options are to walk somewhere else like college ave for wait 1-2 hours after the game ends.
