Tyrese's Big Summer League Night

I'm a bit surprised this has gone completely ignored but Tyrese Samuel showed out in the Brooklyn Nets' NBA Summer League finale.

Tyrese posted a double-double with 19 points and 12 rebounds in 29 minutes on a night the Nets opted to rest all five of their first round draft picks as well as Drew Timme. Samuel shot 8-10 and knocked down a three as well.

Unfortunately, Dre Davis did not have a good night statistically. Dre put up seven points on 2-9 shooting (1-7 on threes) in 19 minutes. He did have three blocked shots.

Awesome, great to see!

Tyrese always seemed like a good guy over his 4 years at The Hall. Can’t fault him for taking the money from Florida on that bogus 5th-year the NCAA was handing out.

Great to see Tyrese have a big night! Always liked him and rooted for him at Florida also. Hope he has a nice career wherever he may end up.

always thought he and the nba makeup in terms of size and athleticism. not saying nba talent , but the type of player scouts keep an eye on
