Congrats on the huge payday. Sorry your career is now over having signed with the Raiders.
Couldnt he have gotten paid and went to a legit franchise?
You know the Raiders are in Vegas right??California gonna get around 2 mil a year of his money just in state income tax. He could have gone to teams in a lot of states, gotten 5 mil less per year, and come out with more money left over AND played for a team with a chance of winning a title.
Happens to all of us friend.Well ****. LOL! I am frickin old after all
They need o-line help. Must protect Mendoza! He chose the Raiders?? Gonna be on a losing team, with zero excitement, for the next three years.
They wrestled against each other and I remember a video of Linderbaum winning. I'm sure Wirfs and he tangled multiple times. The really crazy thing is that they went to 3A schools in Iowa about 10-15 minutes from each other.

Imagine wrestling heavyweight at another local school and having to wrestle those two regularly. I guess you can always say you wrestled both of them. They wrestled against each other and I remember a video of Linderbaum winning. I'm sure Wirfs and he tangled multiple times.
FIFYHis agent helped him choose the MONEY?? Gonna be on a losing team, with zero excitement, for the next three years.
I would forget to mention how many times I got stuck.Imagine wrestling heavyweight at another local school and having to wrestle those two regularly. I guess you can always say you wrestled both of them.
Wirfs actually dominated the series, but you have to take into account that there was about an 80lb weight difference at that time. They wrestled against each other and I remember a video of Linderbaum winning. I'm sure Wirfs and he tangled multiple times.
And wirfs was a few years older.Wirfs actually dominated the series, but you have to take into account that there was about an 80lb weight difference at that time.
Both are studs, well paid studs now.
Linderbaum was 240 and the HWT limit is 285. So, wouldn't it be a 45 lb difference (dont get me wrong, that's a massive difference)? Or maybe you mean in past matchups. Regardless, yeah, huge weight difference there and impressive win by Linderbaum.Wirfs actually dominated the series, but you have to take into account that there was about an 80lb weight difference at that time.

Looks like Crosby failed his physical. So that takes off two first round pics that the Raiders would have gotten.Raiders have a lot of money and a lot of early draft picks. They will be better. Not great, but better these next couple of years
You’re right, not sure how I came up with that figure. Apparently math is hard, lolLinderbaum was 240 and the HWT limit is 285. And both were probably the 2nd and 3rd best heavyweights in that 15-20 mile radius.Linderbaum was 240 and the HWT limit is 285. Tyler should change his name to Linderboom.
Huge mistake by the Ravens front office not resigning TL.
I don’t think those guys have much left in the tank. Being alive might help as wellUnless the Raiders can resign Snake Stabler, Fred Biletnikoff, Dave Casper, Jack Tatum and Gene Upshaw, they ain't going anywhere.
