Was named two deep on the super bowl Eagles pre sea season list. Ty Robinson was a third team BIG team selection (WHAT A JOKE). I predict Ty will be an All Pro before those who were picked before him both 1st and 2nd in the ALL BIG TEN defensive line selection in 2024. Ty Robinson was a fourth round selection by the Eagles in the 2025 NFL draft and will go down a one of the biggest steals of the draft. jmo and GBR!

It's possible he could end up being one of the biggest steals of the draft.You always are looking for quality defensive linemen and the fact that he lasted that long with the career he had at nebraska was baffling to me
Just because he was named two deep does mean the third team was a joke. And it far from a reason that he will be all pro someday. I hope he does well but put your Husker gargles away.
He lasted that long because he was relatively old for NFL prospects due to Covid year and not dominating early enough to declare as a younger player. But he can still be a productive NFL player and quickly in the right environment. And Philly seems to be that.
The thing he has that a lot of guys who get drafted above him is his work ethic. Talent gets you there but man you have to want it more than the other guys. Hopefully he.sticks. Guys like Harrison Phillips stick around because they’re smart, work their *** off and you can depend on them. My comp for Ty at a different position is Russ Hochstein. Who ever thought he would last as long as he did?
Let's be honest about this, he was better than being named third team BIG team and in my opinion he's going to prove it once his pro career is completed.
I like Ty but he wasn't better than the guys ahead of him. Four "linemen" were named for each All Big 10 team but only one interior linemen was on the 1st & 2nd team, the rest were outside rush types. The two interior guys who went ahead of Ty from Michigan that went 5th and 13th overall in the draft. Then on the third team Ty is listed with two other defensive interior guys and both of those guys were 1st round picks as well.
If anything the problem lies with the All Big 10 team having too many linebackers listed and not giving enough recognition to the big guys up front.
The expansion of the B1G has made it MUCH more difficult to land on the top 2 all conference units. Ty back in the Big 8 days would have likely been all conference first team. That’s just my attempt at historical perspective.
Ty is going to prove a lot of people wrong just like a lot of Nebraska players who were never fully respected yet went on to very productive career's in the NFL.
