I asked a question for Seth Davis mailbag around this time in Pikiell first season. Amazing how perception has changed.
Goes to show just how good a job Pikiell has done.
At the time of the article, the two recruits were Geo and Doucore who was a 4* (per Rivals). Souf and Myles Johnson signed right after the article a couple of months later respectively.
Interesting as you scroll down the mailbag the next question is about then OSU-head coach Thad Matta. Among other remarks, Davis says this:
"First of all, let’s dispense with any and all speculation that Matta is on any kind of hot seat. From a job security standpoint, he is as safe as safe can be."
Thad only lasted a few more months in Columbus as Pikiell and RU helped expedite his departure when they knocked off the Bucknuts in the B1G tourney down in DC.
