Tunstall- Contender or Pretender???

I've known for some time that Tunstall is usually in the top teir of the AA baseball teams in the state of VA......but I know Tunstall also usually gets knocked of in the playoffs. (Cave Spring stopped Tunstalls remarkable 20 win season streak last year) Living in KY I am limited in keeping up with baseball back home but from what I understand Tunstall is 12-1 this year. Will they get over the hump this year or will they fall by the wayside again? I would figure that Tunstall should have more titles than they do. Any feedback on them this year?

With two very good pitcher's in Luke Simpson and Chris Buckner they are contender's in Region IV. In the Piedmont District they have a two game lead over Bassett (2-2) 8-5. Tunstall is (3-0) 12-1; their next game is Tuesday at Bassett. Other top team's in Region IV are Hidden Valley 11-3, Christiansburg 10-3, Abingdon 9-3, Carroll Co. 9-4 and Bassett 8-5.

Thanks for the info. I've always known Tunstall to have a strong baseball program. They won state my senior year in 94 (Kris Law, Bubba Scarce and company) I've always respected their program.
