Drop football
Why not??

Convince me otherwise.... Plz.

Makes no sense to be this bad and just be "ok" with it.

Just think of all the great TU football memories we’ve had over the years…..Rhome/Twilley era, Steve Largent, John Cooper Pony Express era, 1991 season-beating Texas A&M, Miracle on 11th Street, etc., excitement of joining the 16 team WAC, resurgence under Kragthorpe, Graham/Malzahn era, winning at Notre Dame, many, many conference championships and bowl games, etc., etc., etc.

Now think that NONE of those things would’ve ever happened if the people in charge of the program listened to fools who suggest dropping football when things aren’t going well.

When you've been hard core TU Football for some decades, you become somewhat philosophical about w/l records, at least I do. So many coaches, players and season w/l records over the years that were great but so very many that sucked. Of course, losing now sucks also. But we've got a new coach who can turn this thing around, based on his vast, big-time experience. He admits to calling bonehead plays and is learning himself, or at least getting back in the HC groove after 7 years removed from being HC at Indiana.

I'm scared that next year might be an instant replay since we lose vast amounts of experience. But again, it's year 3 that for me, the resurgence of TU football better be in full bloom. So much for philosophy.
