OU coming back to win yesterday saved them. Still may of gotten in without winning another game but now they're a lock

OU will definitely make the tournament, no chance the 3 seed of Big 12 gets left out. So the 100% makes sense.

The 6% for us needs to be mentioned by Haith and co and written in the locker room white board. That’s insulting, this team still gets no respect despite being a very very good team.

Espn has it as 77% 23% Wichita favored
From Sports Chat Place...

As for Wichita State, they’ve been a little underwhelming offensively themselves, with 66 or fewer points in three of their last four outings. This should be a pretty fun matchup, but I’m leaning toward Tulsa to bang out a cover here.

I’m sick of the biased BS about our chances for the tournament. We need to make a statement against Witchita and destroy them like we did Memphis.

I mean, what value is there in posting stupid crap other people say? No one wants to read that. Elite Eights’ sub-literate troll is tired. Where was that dbag until a couple of weeks ago?

I’m feeling pretty confident we win today. The team is going to be focused and I think Wainwright has them locked in on defense. WSU has been struggling to score and we are a GREAT defensive team.

Go TU prove the basketball world wrong! I’ll be singing we are the champions all afternoon, until my wife yells at me to stop.

We will know early. If they have it together and keep it close, our defense will wear them down and it will be smooth sailing or at least a chance for TU at the end. Come out sleeping or prone to turnovers after a WSU score and it will be over in the first half — no matter how many runs TU can make in the second. I think this team is ready.

I get your sentiment, but I just want a win to move into the tournament, Lone Champions as 1st seed.

We will probably play them again in the second game of tournament. We need that win. So I'd rather they not come in ready to avenge a 30 pt. beat down from today.

But in tourney, hell yes let's put a 40 pt. beat down on them. Cuz at that point we're just workin' to impress the selection committee!

I’m honestly shocked how we are such a bad road team. When things start to get bad we absolutely implode.

The good news though is that we still won a share of the conference title and we’ll be able to win the conference tourney by winning 3 games in Fort Worth.

Lunardi is such a clown. NOW we’re in the bubble picture, but he pretended we weren’t for the last month?

So we lose big and move onto the bubble after not being mentioned all year? Maybe we should have lost more.

If that's our current position in the eyes of the committee and not just Lunardi then a win over memphis and then houston could actually give us an at large chance. Not sure what to think

Bizarre.

But I guess it is a matter of how other teams are doing too.

It does encourage as to NIT home games.

Side mention of what would happen if we got an home bid to the NIT. I think we would do pretty decent with crowds at home in the NIT this year. The crowds have a little more faith in us this year, after seeing the crowds pick up in the late conference games.

That includes the students. I have spoken to several sophmore and freshman who have started attending games this semester. They really like the players and there interaction. They were a big reason for the Tulsa cheering and chanting running over the wheaties portion of the crowd during the game.

For me this is the biggest reason to believe this team has started a revival of the program. We need a big man next year and for Ugboh and Early to both continue to develop. I see a lot of Kwanza's influence on all of our post players in their progress.

Keeping Wainwright is very important as well, he seems to have a very solid influence on the weaker parts of Haith's coaching (inbounds, rotations). Shea is obviously catching his groove on the recruiting trail.

All in all though the future looks extremely promising.
