Tucker Biven

So I had to go back and look at the boxscores for the weekend games against UIC to make sure, but Biven did not throw all weekend.
I did see him throwing a bit yesterday in the bullpen. I was wondering if we MIGHT see him start tomorrow with the struggles of Hartman and possible injury to Detmers.

Great minds…
I think I would give him the start on Tuesday. He’d have plenty of rest for the weekend. He meeds something to get his head on straight. He has the talent that is for sure.
Any word on Gregor? I thought we would have seen him quite a bit so far…but crickets since opening weekend.

If he does start,it adds up about where his head might have been recently.
I can remember Bobby Miller being pushed into that closer role his Sophomore year and it not sitting well within his camp. They abandoned that and I think he eventually became the midweek guy before becoming a weekend starter in the shortened 2020 season.

He’s got good stuff. He has to pound the sone and keep his pitches down though, He’s been his own worst enemy. We have other guys who can come in and close - IMO. Wyatt being #1.
