Yeah. I knew he was signed by the 49ers for this season....what I didn't know is they technically waived him on cutdown day and signed him to the practice squad after he cleared. He was activate to the active roster just yesterday.
The 49ers, along with a lot of other teams have had a ton of injuries so far this season. Is it because the front line players aren't getting any meaningful reps in the pre-season?
It appears that Chris Paul is now starting at LG for the Commanders and he had akey pull block on a late TD for the Commanders vs the Chargers yesterday. That OL is pretty darn good and they were opening up some nice holes and giving Daniels some time to get the ball downfield.
The Cardinals have lost some absolute heartbreakers this season and Zaven is only seeing situational duty. His stats don't look great because he plays the weakside and teams almost are always going away from him.

Monty couldn't coach a lick but he could find some players and convince them to come here. I also think he and his staff had some vision as to potential of players in different positions than what they played in HS. Zaven Collins is a perfect example of that.
