TU Position Breakdown -- Linebackers

The dreadful 2014 defense never recovered from the graduation of linebacker Shawn Jackson, but young players like Craig Suits and Petera Wilson look to turn things around. The following is a breakdown of the TU linebacker positions with plenty of insight from Coach Montgomery.

Wilson might be the best athlete on the team. He and Jeremy Smith are a great rush combo off the edges in passing situations, and Wilson is a more natural fit at LB than DE. Both players could be all conference by the end of their careers. It'd be nice to land 1-2 players as highly rated as Wilson was each year.

Not sure what to make of the Linscott and Norman idea.

This is a position of need and Montgomery is addressing it with the 3 LB commits so far.
