Active hands and lots of energy. If we could play like this all the time we would be a lock.
We came out and smacked them in the mouth, now we just need to keep it up.

We needed a three that last possession to double them up but I’ll take a 25 point halftime lead.
It looks favorable to get a #2 or # 3 seed. At least we won’t get USF in semifinals. Hard to get #2 but still have possibility. Best half of year. Let’s at least break even with their scoring the second half and run som offensive sets.
Let's see if we can get out to a good start second half. A bit of an issue recent weeks.
We’re leading in every stat except rebounds. They’ve actually out rebounded us by 3 but we have 13 assists to just 4 turnovers, 54% from deep, 66% overall, 100% from the line and 4 steals. 1.71 points per possession which is one of the highest I’ve seen all year.

Whether we’re a 2 or 3, we’ll most likely play WSU in the semis. The way we’ve played the last 2 road games, I’m not worried about having a warmup game in the quarterfinals. I’d prefer we only have to win 2 games, not 3.
That is Willis Wilson former Rice HC who played Tulsa many times 20 plus years back. He is especially impressed by our defense tonight.

I’ve had that cupping done. Not convinced it does much of anything.

The biggest difference I’ve seen between these last two games and the previous few is player intensity. Tonight and against Tulane the guys have really looked like they wanted it the most.
