And I can reply to my own. Tried earlier to reply to a post by Cochise and it didn'lt work. Maybe it will now.

Hit the ellipsis then gif. Or just copy and paste a link to one on the web. I've done it both ways. I've also added a gif from my photos

I simply clicked the GIF button in the menu bar, searched for a gif, clicked on the one I wanted and it inserted the gif where I left my cursor.

Trying to paste an image now.
