Why in the F would he consider UNL when the AD has decided to retain the architect of one of the worst 4 years stretches in the history of a school who is already one of the worst historical basketball programs in the ncaa?

I don’t really think most of these schools are affiliated with the church, they just use Catholic to recruit anyway that’s what a priest mentioned I could be wrong
Yeah, a little bit but Jesuits are super into educating kids, that is a huge thing for them. But I don't think it is like a HS where the dioceses actually has a finger on things, but I don't know for sure.
Hunter can't shoot. Chucky would be cool. Traudt's gonna end up at CU.
That being said, idk why Chucky would transfer. Wisconsin's finding new life/momentum in the NIT. And that team's very young.

In the subset of guys that already have playing time, there's one reason in this day and age - M-O-N-E-Y. Guy like Chucky says, "I think I'm pretty good, I might transfer. I need some more money."
Hunter isn't allowed to shoot and just doesn't seem like a fit with the team when watching. Wisconsin isn't well coached IMO, but who knows. It sucks even more getting scorched by CU teams filled with local kids.
It's sad that players like Sallis and Traudt would rather come off the bench and play limited minutes at other programs, than come here and start and play 30+ minutes a game.
The athletic department is bringing back its basketball coach who has the worst 4 year record in modern history for year 5 - why would these kids come here when the athletic department clearly doesn’t care about the program?
They probably want to win. He’ll be a freshman with 4 years, he’s going to have plenty of time to start and play 30 mins for a winning program. If NU wants to get these kind of kids to play in Lincoln, they have to fix their program. Kids aren’t going to come to NU knowing they’ll likely never make a NCAA tournament.

You gotta show that you can make the tourney. These kids aren't going to programs with a coaching staff that has no recent track record of getting there. NIL can only get you so much. You have to WIN. These recruits are willing to take less NIL at schools when they know there's a good chance they'll make the tourney. Our fanbase just thinking we can buy any player and flaunt our fan support despite not winning is just moronic.
