I know it’s open for 30 days, closing 4/22. But does that mean players have to also commit to their new school by 4/22? That would be nice, so we know our roster by then. But i think players can commit in to May, June, July…right?

No. Players just have to ENTER the portal during the window, but they can sign at anytime, including after the portal closes.
