i was watching the Northwestern/OU game today and it’s the first chance I’ve had to see Young play and he does look like an NBA player. OU scored 68 in the first half with Young hitting 25 with 10assists. Now he didn’t play much defense and had several turnovers while trying to make passes but that’s easily forgiven with that kind of offense.
Interestingly the best pass I saw him make didn’t end in an assist. He was double teamed on the sideline above the top of the key and he reached around the double team and nailed a one-hand pass to a big under the basket. The big had his shot blocked from behind.
