I saw a tougher team in Princeton.
Undersized but yet they were getting a ton of offensive rebounds and taking it inside on our guys.

Agreed. I have no idea why Gavin didn’t play more. Simpson was bad tonight as was Jamicheal. Hyatt hasn’t changed. He still can’t shoot around the basket. Tonight our guards played poorly.
We look horrible, I didn't really know what to expect given all the new pieces, but I'm resetting my expectations to if we make the NIT it's a good enough year.
Our guard play leaves a lot to be desired. I could see Lee starting over our guards.
We were soft and Gavin may be the softest. He was ineffective. People asking why he didn’t play more don’t understand what they are watching.

one game and obviously we played like dog **** but it looked like one team was a well oiled machine on offense and another team was playing a pickup game.
There’s a reason PU was an Elite 8 team last season. Their style and tenacity are tough to deal with. They were the better team start to finish. We certainly have a lot to clean up.
I was wondering why only because his reputation is that of a deadly outside shooter. And at a point some of that was really needed. Instead had to watch Davis jacking them up

I don't like to get on Pike but visually the way the Princeton offense looked vs ours was embarrassing. The constant cutting, the patience, the ability to maintain composure with shot clock under ten, etc.
They had better basketball players.
Their Canadian guard was better then anybody in our backourt, and not real close
Princeton historically has done this to many teams, many teams better than rutgers
We have some athletes but the ball players were mostly on Princeton.
If we play like that again we won't even have to worry about NIT threads.
People need to trust what and how Pike coached this game.

Princeton was in mid-season form while Rutgers was in preseason form.
Our slow footed backcourt would have won this game versus our quick out of control can’t shoot the basketball up tempo guys who stunk.
Needed Paul to elbow or trip someone to light a fire under the team.

And all that speed to get out and run means nothing if you can’t rebound the ball. Princeton was quicker to lose balls and wanted it more.
