In anticipation of his release of this year's rankings, I went to his site and noticed that there are backfilled ratings for every year going back to 2021. Found some interesting stuff there.
2021: Overall - 40th. Offense - 38th. Defense - 51st.
2022: Overall - 6th. Offense - 25th. Defense - 3rd.
2023: Overall - 21st. Offense - 60th. Defense - 9th.
2024: Overall - 37th. Offense - 54th. Defense - 22nd.
2025: Overall - 20th. Offense - 50th. Defense - 8th.
Interesting to see how clearly 2022 was CB's best team. One thing that team had was an athletic wing (KTW) with scoring upside - think we have that in the aggregate between Nyla, Henderson, and Liza. Was also interesting to see how highly that team ranked without a difference maker post - Anya was solid but I don't think anyone would say she was at the level of someone like Gakdeng. I'm optimistic about Toomey's offensive upside and Thomas's defensive upside - think CB will favor the latter when it comes to starting decisions.
